The SUSTAINABLE NEIGHBOURHOOD in FOCUS (SNF) PROJECT

Welcome to the website devoted to news and information about Urban Harvest-related projects in Kampala, Uganda.

The majority of this site describes the work of the Sustainable Neighborhood in Focus-Kampala (SNF) Project, being undertaken as part of a Focus Cities Research Initiative (FCRI) of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). Kampala is one of eight cities throughout the world that have been selected to participate in this initiative. SNF-Kampala started on 1st July 2006 and is set to run until January 2010. The Kampala City Council (KCC) has provided strong support as the local lead institution in conjunction with other partners.
