Employment - Agricultural Economist, CIMMYT

The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) is seeking an experienced agricultural economist to contribute to the development of wheat and maize systems in South Asia. The micro-economist will work as member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes other social scientists, biophysical scientists and GIS specialists. The position will be posted to CIMMYT’s New Delhi office and will be expected to work throughout the northern South Asia region (particularly India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh). The initial appointment will be for a period of three years. The closing date for applications is March 31 2009.
